The Boulder View

The purpose of this building is to help incorporate the natural surroundings and attractions for visitors and locals in the state of Colorado. Every state has some type of attraction whether it be natural or man-made that helps bring visitors and locals together. I wanted to enhance those natural attractions and make them easily accessible. The building will help the locals share their knowledge of the community to visitors and those interested in what Colorado has to offer.

With this project I planned to enhance my chosen location through design by creating an inclusive, interactive, and unique environment and experience which incorporates both indoor and outdoor activities.

Rock Climbing Wall Detail

Detail for both small and large rock climbing walls which I designed with the help of an engineer at Kirby Building Systems.

The goal of this project was to design a building that could be both a long term and short-term place for people to stay. This hotel/ service apartment will introduce visitors to the community and all that Colorado has to offer, which is something I hope would attract guests.
