Hello, I’m Elissa Beery!
To me design is internally driven and something I truly enjoy doing and creating. My designs lean more on imagined reality instead of being a direct reaction to things happening in the world. My creative approach combines mark making and structure while gaining inspiration from nature, architecture, texture, and landscape.
Creating small series of sketches helps with my overall creative process by allowing me to create new ideas and inspires further exploration of future and ongoing ideas. My creative process drives my style of design with my mark making techniques. I begin each piece with a rough sketch and then do a few sketch series with variations while exploring color, composition, and scale combinations.
What I Enjoy.
Embroidery.
I wanted to learn something new and decided to try embroidery. Finding new patterns and buying lots of floss is what I enjoy best. I get inspiration for new patterns and techniques from Pinterest.
Disney.

I have always loved animals since I was little (especially dogs). Nutmeg is my 1 year old Aussie Doodle who is beyond spoiled.
