Tree Composition

This piece was designed after many sketch series of a space I chose to draw on campus. After a few sketches I decided on this composition and began the piece with water and ink. Other materials used in this piece include: conte crayons, charcoal, and inks. For this piece I wanted to stick with a minimal color palette as well as colors that were realistically seen in nature. I included warm oranges and hints of purple to create a somewhat unrealistic feel.
