Poly-Portrait

This project of Drew Barrymore which is one of my favorite actresses was a practice piece in Illustrator. I decided to create a poly-portrait from a magazine image of Drew Barrymore. In Illustrator I played around with shapes and ended up choosing to design the portrait only with triangles. During this project I also decide I wanted the end piece to be smooth, so I created small and intricate triangles instead of larger ones in order to make the piece seamless. The hardest part of this project was her hair but after the piece was finished it became my favorite part of the piece.
